Vaccinations

Every pet must have current vaccination prior to checking in. Pets that have not been vaccinated for more than 12 months must be vaccinated no less than ten (10) days before checking-in for boarding. By law, vaccination certificates need to be sighted by a staff member prior to your pet entering the facility.

Dogs Require: C5 Vaccination. Note: Dogs that receive the 3 yearly vaccination will still require the yearly canine cough vaccination.
Cats Require: F3 Vaccination, or higher.

Flea and Worm Treatments

All pets should be free of fleas and internal parasites upon arrival at Paw Park.

Safe Transfer

Your pet’s safety is important to us, therefore, ALL pets entering and exiting Paw Park must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times until they are in the care of our staff.  All Check-ins and Check-outs are now done in the undercover carpark for safety reasons.

Entire Cats

Due to hygiene issues we do not accept entire male cats.

Veterinary Treatment

If your pet becomes sick or is injured during their stay Paw Park will seek Veterinary treatment. We will (except in case of emergency) make reasonable efforts to contact the owner or emergency contact prior to seeking treatment. Our nearest vet is Evans Head Veterinary Clinic and all pets will be treated there unless otherwise specified.  A $50 fee will be charged for one of our staff to transport your pet to and from Evans Head Vet.

Food and Medication

We feed a variety of premium quality foods during your pets stay. If your pet has special dietary requirements, you are welcome to provide your pets regular food. If you require medication to be administered to your pet, please ensure you supply medication in its original packaging with the name of the prescribing vet and dosage instructions clearly visible. There will be a small extra charge added to your account as per our fee schedule.

Exercise

We include a daily playtime as a standard service for all our canine guests. Additional services are offered – see our menu. Cats can play on our selection of cat poles.

Bedding and Belongings

We will provide your pet with quality bedding, but if you wish to lessen your pets stress in the boarding environment we encourage you to bring a bed, blanket or favourite toy for them.
