WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We supply everything that your dog or cat needs for their stay. If you would like to bring a favourite toy or blanket.
WHAT ABOUT VACCINATIONS?
For any dog boarding with us they must have a current C5 vaccination or higher, and for all cats a current F3 vaccination or higher.
CAN MY DOGS/CATS SHARE?
Our runs are spacious and can accommodate multiple family members. Dogs and cats are housed in seperate parts of the facility. Dogs from the same family can share a run as can cats.
CAN MY PUPPY KITTEN STAY WITH YOU
It is a perfect time to introduce your new furbaby into boarding as it will elevate future stress. Your Puppy / Kitten must be fully vaccinated. Please contact us if you are unsure.
MY PET HAS NEVER BOARDED BEFORE, THEY SLEEP ON MY BED, WILL THEY BE OK?
First time guests sometimes take a day or two to settle in, but once they work out that we are here to give them lots of love they usually get quite excited about a visit to Paw Park.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAILY RATE?
We supply all food, treats, a daily play in the exercise areas, and dogs that are with us for 8 days or longer also receive a complimentary bath, brush and blow dry.
WHAT TIME CAN I DROP OFF AND PICK UP MY PET?
Our office is open from 8am until 4 pm for checking in and out. Out of hours drop off and picks ups are available by prior arrangement only, but may not be available, charges will apply.
DO I NEED TO BRING FOOD?
We supply a variety of super premium food and treats for your pets. If your dog or cat is on a prescription diet, has a sensitive stomach or you would just like to continue with their normal food, just bring it along when you check your pet in. There is no difference in price if you supply your own food.
HOW MUCH EXERCISE DOES MY DOG GET?
All our guests go into the play yards daily for around 30 minutes. Our yards have specially designed equipment to provide enrichment to your dogs day. Extra play times and walks are available if required, just speak to one of the team if you would like to arrange extra play sessions. During periods of wet weather we prioritise the dogs with the highest energy levels but still do try to get everyone out for a stretch. Our K9 turfed yards are ready for play as soon as soon as the rain stops.
MY DOG IS NOT SOCIAL, CAN HE STILL STAY WITH YOU?
We will not mix your dog with any other dogs for safety reasons.
HOW LONG CAN MY PET STAY FOR?
We have dogs that come in for just a few hours and some that stay with us for months.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ITS REALLY HOT?
The design and construction material of our facility aids in keeping our kennels as cool as possible. A fully automated misting system is fitted to each run and is activated through the summer months. Automated water bowls ensure all our dogs have access to plenty of fresh water. We also have paddle pools and offer ice blocks to keep everyone comfortable. Our 4 play yards have retractable shade sails which provide shade in the warmer months.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
We can usually take dogs at short notice, but holiday periods tend to book out well in advance. As soon as you have your dates set give us a call and we will organise a booking.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Our daily rate for cats starts at $26, and $32 for dogs. Extra charges may apply so the easiest way is to give us a call and we can put together a quote for you. We do discount for multiple cats / dogs from the same household sharing the same run.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE A BOARDING FACILITY?
Our facility offers a safe, caring environment where your much loved fur baby receives multiple daily interactions with trained staff who are regularly monitoring your pets health and behaviour. Live in on site manager and vet nurse to ensure around the clock care.
WHAT ABOUT CANINE COUGH?
Canine cough is an airborne virus similar to the human cold, and just like the human cold there are many different strains, so even though all dogs entering our resort are fully vaccinated there is still a chance for infection. Your dog can just as easily pick up canine cough on a visit to the dog park as in a boarding facility. Any place where there are multiple dogs there is a risk and vaccination is not 100 percent effective at stopping your dog from contracting canine cough. At Paw Park we have many hygiene procedures in place to keep risk to a minimum, but if a dog was to show symptoms they would be immediately isolated and veterinary treatment sought.
